Meet Dr. Jon Maxham
Dr. Jon Maxham is a veteran and internal medicine physician with over 15 years of experience. A graduate of Kansas City University with residency at Wright State University and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, he served in the U.S. Air Force, including a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan as a Medical Training Advisor.
After his service, Dr. Maxham continued practicing medicine with a focus on holistic, personalized care—treating conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and sleep apnea. He believes in restoring the physician-patient relationship and bringing back the “old ways of healing.”
Now based in Henderson, Nevada, with his wife (a fellow veteran and nurse), their two children, and a small crew of Huskies and cats, Dr. Maxham is committed to serving his community with compassion, integrity, and care that goes beyond prescriptions.
He’s now running for County Commission District G to bring that same dedication to public service—defending medical freedom, supporting veterans and first responders, and restoring transparency, accountability, and common sense to local government.
